  • The kids are sitting down with some chocolate milk, so I thought I'd upate and blog a little...

Logan (who is 14 months) is very very clingy right now and is constantly on the boob or on my hip.  He is pushing through 5 teeth, and its been really rough on him.  The first 8 were really no trouble, but these ones are a doosy.  I've given him a bit of tylenol for the discomfort, and tomorrow when I go to the store I am going to pick up some more teething tablets.  My poor little boy....

Melody is working really hard on going potty in the potty.  This morning she did it without me asking her if she has to go!  I'm pretty excited...She has an on again, off again relationship with the potty though, sometime she does it, and then there are periods of time when she refuses.  Maybe I can talk her into wearing a pair of her Dora panties, and we'll see how she does.  She's been refusing the panties lately, wanting to wear diapers like her little brother.

We are having Kassies birthday this weekend.  Tomorrow when I go to the store I'll pick her up some more things (I need wrapping paper and decorations!), and I'll look for the last present.  Her mom said that she need some pajama's so maybe I'll find her a pair of Hannah Montana ones (She LOVES Hannah Montana...).

Oh, and I found a nifty little site that is SO much fun if you have some extra time on your hands...Go here -> http://www.meez.com/ and make a you!  I made mine yesterday while Hubby had the children and it was so much fun.

Today was a really good day...We woke up and had a great breakfast of eggs, potatoes and steak!  The steak was leftover from last night...Hubby bought a package of 9 at Smiths on his way home from work, so we didnt eat leftovers for dinner after all.  But the best part about it was the price, which was only $12.35!  Yeah, 9 good cut steaks for $12...How seriously cool is that?  And he came home and cooked them himself...I love him so much.

Then we watched Charmed and Las Vegas while the kids colored and played.  It was a pretty "lazy" day I guess, just snuggling and playing, then snacks and another meal.  After our afternoon snack we settled down to watch "Back to the Future Part III", which was really fun.

Now I am home alone...Hubby has to stay up tonight becuase starting tomorrow is his night shift (he works swing shifts), and he took the kids with him to his friends house (who works on his crew so he has the same shift).  He does this all the time, which is so nice becuase it means that I get a break, Hubby gets to hang out and play video games or Magic, and the kids get to hang out with hubby friends son, who is around 6 months younger than Melody.  So everyone has so much fun.

These breaks help me so much, I get to catch up on things that need to be done.  He goes to his friends around 5-ish, so that gives me pretty much a half of a day by myself!  Woot!  Today I am going to do laundry, pick up and vacuum the living room, declutter my computer desk and change the sheets on the beds.  Then I am going to take a shower and curl up with "Brisingr" (the new Eregon book), which I am almost done reading.

  • This is tooo cute.  I found this on Yahoo videos, and showed it to hubby when he got home from work last night.  He is a big Star Wars nerd.  Isnt it the cutest though?

  • Tattoos!

We did temporary tattoo's today before Kassie's mom got here!  I took some pictures...Unfortunately I couldnt get a picture of Kassies becuase her mom was in a hurry, but here are the other kiddo's arms!

Here is Melody's arm...She was in love with the flower.

And here is Logans arm!  I chose this one for him
becuase he didnt understand about chosing, he just
wanted to stick all of them in his mouth...LOL

And Kassie got a a pretty dove on her arm!

It was really fun to see them get all excited about such a simple thing, I love my kids<3.

Today has been a long day, I cant wait till hubby comes home from work.  That'll be around 8:30-ish.  I wonder what I'll make for dinner?  I think its going to be a simple one tonight becuase I've been really cooking away this week and, frankly, I am tired.  Last night I made Chicken and Dumplings, and it was very tasty...I wish we had leftovers from that, but Hubby took them to work.  Its okay though.  I'm happy as long as it doesnt get wasted

We can alway use the leftover Spagetti Sauce in the fridge...That way I'll only have to boil the noodles.  And there are other leftovers that are still good also, so yeah, I have decided that tonight is going to be leftover night!!

  • My Kiddo's are Napping!

So I thought that I'd blog a bit!

Today was a very productive day, I swept and mopped my kitchen floor...Something that I havent dont for ever and it REALLY needed to be done.  So now I can walk on my kitchen without hearing a crunching sound (crackers are a menace sometimes).  I also cleaned off my kitchen table, a place that collects a ton of clutter.  The living room is now picked up and will be vacuumed when the kiddo's wake up from their nap (I love that I can put them ALL down at once).  I did a load of laundry today, and I will be putting that away soon.

My step daughters mom just called...She is coming up to get Kassie (who has been here this weekend), becuase there is school tomorrow.  She'll be here in around an hour.  They live in a town close to ours, which is nice.  There was a time when we could only have her for summer becuase they lived all the way on the other side of the country.  Now we can have her for 2 weekends a month and we also share her for holidays.

Anyone familiar with the Twilight series?  Well, the first movie is coming out on the 21st!!!  And I am soooooo excited for it.  I hope I can con my MIL to watch the kids so Hubby and I can go.  That would be awesome.

I'm a little bummed at Momarro right now though...You see, I made a layout that I was super duper excited to put on this site, but it wont work.  I've turned off  Xanga Themes and everything, but when I went to the look and feel, it said that my layout will not show becuase I have Xanga Themes on.  So I look again at my site and all I have on it is the default pink, white and blue.  I tried to access the Help page, but it wouldnt go through.  So I sent an e-mail to Xanga, but I doubt that I'll get any feedback becuase I've asked them a question a couple of months ago and have yet to recieve an answer.

    *sigh*

It was a SUPER cute layout.  I am not fond of the Themes.  Not fond at all.  I'll get over it though, maybe I'll figure it out soon.

Something to cheer you up!!!  The Cat and a Box...
